SAP COMPETENCE CENTER LEAD

FULL-TIME (40 HOURS/WEEK) FOR OUR PLANT IN VASKERESZTES (near Szombathely), HUNGARY WITH REGULAR TRAVEL TO AUSTRIA

In the newly created role of the SAP Competence Center Lead, you will be responsible for successfully supporting the implementation of the new ERP system (SAP S4HANA) and building, sharing, and continuously developing know-how and expertise within your team at the Vaskeresztes site. In the future, you will also be helping with the further SAP rollouts in our international subsidiaries.

Your tasks:

  • Overall responsibility for the further development of the SAP Competence Center and the reliable operation of company-wide systems
  • Disciplinary and technical leadership of the SAP Competence Center team
  • Strategic SAP planning and management of national and international SAP projects
  • Reporting to the Group IT Director
  • Ensuring compliance, including maintaining system documentation
  • Advising departments on the use of current and future SAP solutions
  • International SAP-activities at the MAM SAP-CC
  • Travel activity to the subsidiaries

Your profile:

  • Completed technical or business degree or equivalent professional experience/training
  • SAP integration knowledge
  • AMS (Application Managed Services) and SAP licensing experience
  • Several years of experience (at least 3) in leading and executing SAP projects
  • Comprehensive knowledge of current SAP technologies and solutions, with a focus on production and logistics
  • Entrepreneurial thinking and service orientation
  • Several years of experience in leading and developing teams
  • Excellent communication skills and social competence
  • Very good in Hungarian, German, and English skills, both written and spoken
  • High level of self-responsibility, self-organization, and resilience
